Building new relationships around local food systems
Lancaster Farm Fresh, a new cooperative of organic farmers, is excited to announce our CSA. A group of 15 Lancaster County organic farmers have joined together to better serve our community. We will provide our customers with more variety, a better product and service at a lower cost to you. We share in marketing, distribution, labor and transportation costs.
Our experienced Amish and Mennonite farmers have been dedicated to healthy families and healthy land for as many as ten generations in Lancaster County. Our fresh food is delivered to you within hours of being harvested. Lettuce so fresh it is still glistening with dew, carrots and cucumbers with that just picked crunch. Every week brings new treats and surprises. You know your food is always raised without chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides or genetically modified organisms.
Our shares include an average of eight items per week, a just right size for most homes. We offer unique and heirloom varieties that are hard to find in any store. Check out our Product List to see the amazing array we offer you!
Member benefits include: 24 weeks of 6 to10 items per week (Mid May through October), weekly email news bulletin, an annual festival and a farm tour.
Member requirements include: To help our sites run smoothly members contribute 5 hours of annual service to help set up and clean up the site. Unclaimed produce can be divided amongst the group or delivered to a local food pantry. Members can pay a $50 surcharge if they are unable to fulfill this commitment.
